Purcell Exports Australian, New Zealand and Irish platforms are active in supplying large volumes of cattle with a focus on the export of dairy and beef cattle. We source premium products through our rigorous selection process from producers with whom we have strong ‘farm-gate’ partnerships. It is due to these long-standing relationships with both agents and directly with farmers that we can guarantee the quality and quantity of supply.
We ship large volumes of livestock by sea from the major exporting countries which have the highest animal welfare standards in the world. The Purcell Family have owned numerous livestock vessels over the years including the MV GP Purcell and the MV Philomena Purcell and all vessels in our fleet meet the requirements of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and are crewed by qualified, experienced staff who are trained in livestock care.
Purcell can export high value breeding livestock by air when not feasible to do so by sea or land; this would include cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Purcell Exports has a valid licence and approval to supply livestock by air from Australia.
Purcell Exports also transports cattle and sheep by truck from Ireland throughout Europe and the Eurasian countries of Russia and Kazakhstan. Large or small numbers of animals can be transported by land depending on customers’ requirements. Purcell Exports uses the most modern, up-to-date trucks to transport cattle and schedules numerous rest stops on the route, so that the animals arrive in the best possible condition.
