Purcell Exports has embraced and meets the expectations of the Australian Export Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS). The role of ESCAS is to ensure all feeder and finished cattle that are exported are traceable until the point of slaughter, ensuring all animals are processed in the most humane way possible.
We take our responsibility as global livestock leaders seriously and work closely with our customers to support them in having the necessary skills and infrastructure in place to safely handle the animals they purchase. In most instances, Purcell Exports can offer in-house care in the form of supplying either an experienced accredited veterinarian or an expert in livestock handling so as to assist the customer in ensuring the cattle adapt to their new environment quickly.
